CALCIUM - SILICON

Calcium - silicon is a widely used alloy. It is used in the steel industry and also in foundies for desulphurization, deoxidation inoculation, modification and alloying. The SiCa 30 alloy is made according to standard DIN 17580.

BRIQUETTES - FeSi

Briquetts are products based on silicon. They are used as an additive in the production of grey irons in cupola furnaces. The form and size of briquettes enables a manual and automatic feeding process. The silicon content in the briquette is between 52 and 56%. The temperature stability prevents premature desintegration of the briquettes, therefore the yield of the silicon transfer to the melt is better.

FERROSILICON AND FEROSILICON BARIUM

Ferrosilicon and Ferosilicon Barium are used for a wide range of applications in the steel and iron industries. In the steel manufactures ferrosilicon is used principally as a deoxidant and alloying element and in the production of grey iron as inoculant. Our ferrosilicon and ferosilicon barium alloys are produced to the standard ISO 5445.
